Intents Festival
The Intents Festival is an annual electronic music festival held in the Netherlands that specializes in hardstyle, hardcore, and EDM genres. The event is one of the largest and most well-known dance festivals in the Benelux region, attracting tens of thousands of visitors every year.
Location: Oisterwijk
First edition: 2004
Duration: 3 days (early June)
Main genres: Hardstyle, hardcore, EDM
Organizer: Intents Events
The Intents Festival started in 2004 as a local initiative and gradually evolved into an international event. In its early years it was a one-day festival, but due to growing interest it expanded into a multi-day event with camping facilities. Each year the organizers introduce a new thematic concept and spectacular stage designs.
The festival features multiple stages where some of the most well-known artists from the hardstyle and hardcore scene perform, including Headhunterz, Brennan Heart, and Angerfist.
The lineup often includes live acts, back-to-back (B2B) sets, and exclusive festival shows created specifically for the event.
The unique atmosphere of Intents Festival comes from its highly detailed yearly themes, large-scale light and pyrotechnic shows, and impressive stage designs. Every year a unique mainstage is created, serving as the central visual element of the festival’s identity. Visitors—mostly fans of harder electronic music styles—experience a strong sense of community, making the festival attractive not only within the Netherlands but internationally as well.
